Review
aeroFox is a small yet useful web browser used to navigate and browse websites using the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. The first thing that you will notice when you launch this program is the simple user interface that supports adjusting the transparency degree of the whole browser window. The start page of this browser shows Webmaster hints and Friend Connect gadgets, some advertisements and Google search bar. The browser status bar shows you what percentage is completed when loading any web page, plus it tells you whether the website you are visiting is using a secure or insecure connection. The program allows you to save the web page you are visiting into a single web archive file (.MHT), regular HTML, HTML and images and as a text file. The program has the bookmarking feature that enables you to save your favorite websites' URL to an easy-to-access menu. Sites can be bookmarked easily by pressing Ctrl+D, and it will prompt you to optionally edit the URL and title of your bookmarked websites. The browser lacks the ability of tabbed browsing. There is a button to easily launch a new browser window upon a mouse click. Google and Wikipedia search boxes are available directly on the browser's toolbar. |
